Getting Started

Download

Download the latest version from GitHub Releases.

Two package types are available:

  • Installer (.exe) — recommended for most users, comes with proper install/uninstall
  • Portable (.zip) — no installation needed, just extract and run

System Requirements

WARNING

  • OS: Windows 10 1903 (Build 18362) or later, 64-bit
  • GPU driver: DirectX 11 support, keep it up to date
  • WebView2: Requires Microsoft WebView2 Runtime ≥ 123.0.2420.47 (modern Windows has it built-in)

First Launch

The first time you run the program, Windows may show:

  • SmartScreen: Click More infoRun anyway (open-source software doesn't have a code signing certificate)
  • UAC prompt: Click Yes to grant admin privileges (required for resizing the game window)

Setup Wizard

On first launch, the setup wizard will walk you through:

  1. Pick your language and theme (dark / light / system)
  2. Confirm the target window title (defaults to Infinity Nikki)

Once done, the floating window will appear on your screen.

TIP

Press Ctrl + ` (backtick, top-left corner of your keyboard) to toggle the floating window anytime.

In-Game Settings

Before you start shooting, open Infinity Nikki and set:

  • Display mode: Window
  • Photo Quality: Window Resolution

Your First Ultra-High-Res Portrait

  1. Open the in-game camera and frame your shot
  2. On the floating window, pick ratio 9:16 and resolution 8K (try 4K or 6K if your system struggles)
  3. The game window will expand beyond your screen — that's normal

Window overflowing?

Turn on the Overlay or Preview Window from the toolbar to see the full frame within your screen.

  1. Press Space to take the photo
  2. After shooting, click Reset on the floating window to restore the game window
